The Castle Bromwich Village Trail was first published as a leaflet by William Dargue in 2013 with artwork by David Adams to support the Castle Bromwich Bell Restoration Project refurbishing St Mary & St Margaret’s church bells to commemorate the installation of the peal by Sir John Bridgeman II in 1717. Other material is the work of William Dargue, some derived from The Bells of Castle Bromwich and A Brief History of Castle Bromwich and its Church 2013 by William Dargue and kindly sponsored by Hall's Garden Centre, a family-run business established in Castle Bromwich in 1952.
